Q: How did you start your career with Lucas Professional Search Group?
I started as an Internship student the beginning of 2014. Soon after my internship ended, the Regional Manager was impressed with my work and offered me the Recruitment Specialist position in the London Branch.
Q: What made you decide to go into human resources?
I worked as a Retail Manager for 7 exciting years. My experience from that role helped me choose Human Resources as my career path. I was in charge of sales generation, recruitment, training & development and visual merchandising. Recruitment was my favorite part of the position. Meeting people and finding qualified candidates to assist companies in their recruiting efforts is a great feeling of accomplishment.
Q: What is your guilty pleasure?
Shopping!!! Always have time for shopping.
Q: What is the one thing you like the most?
Travelling, learning new languages, new cultures, exploring the world. I speak & write four languages and have travelled to more than 8 countries ….still more to go.
Q: If you could describe your life motto what would be it?
You should never regret anything in life. If it’s good, it’s wonderful. If it’s bad, it’s experience. I believe in this. We all make mistakes and sometimes we are too hard on ourselves but the best way to learn is from our mistakes. We should never stop trying.
Q: What is the best piece of advice that you have been given from a mentor?
Action speaks louder than words- what one does is more important than what one says. The only way you can prove yourself is by your actions.
